Friday-Saturday, August 5th-6th: Sizzling Summer Days Artwalk

The Village Mystic gift shop is hosting an art walk and small festival this weekend. Bring the kids and enjoy live music as well as freshly baked goods for sale, and much more. For $35 you can also buy a bucket of geodes and crystals. There will also be lots of other great items for you to choose for yourself or if you need a special gift for someone.

Friday, August 5th: Jazz on Palm

If you’re looking for things to do in Sarasota at night, be sure to check out Jazz on Palm this Friday the 5th. In addition to enjoying the Hot Tonic Orchestra, you can also check out some jazz dancing tips from the pros at Dynasty Dance Club.

Saturday, August 6th: Free Yoga by the Bay

Are you looking for some fitness-related things to do this weekend in Sarasota? If so, check out Free Yoga by the Bay With Erin, this Saturday the 6th. Starting at 9 a.m., you can follow a simple yet challenging routine that’s sure to get your body stretched and your blood flowing.

Saturday, August 6th: Florida Penguin’s Sarasota Back-to-School Bash

For even more fun things to do in Sarasota with kids this weekend, check out the FREE back-to-school bash presented by State College of Florida at the University Town Center Mall this Saturday. This fun expo features lots of giveaways plus a scavenger hunt, and much more.
