Sarasota Weekend of June 24th to June 26th

There is no better time than now to enjoy some upcoming events in Sarasota! The July 4th weekend is almost upon us, which means you might plan some things to do this weekend in Sarasota, before beaches and venues get too crowded. The end of June also means that most kids are out of school. With that in mind, there are some things to do in Sarasota with the kids you’ll want to check out for the weekend.
As always, be sure to stay hydrated and protected from the sun no matter your plans but especially when outdoors at midday. It’s also good to check ahead before stepping out, in case venues are sold out or canceled for any reason. That way, nothing will interfere with enjoying all your weekend events for 2022!



Friday, June 24th: Rosemary Park Yoga
There is no better way to kick off the summer than by trying out a little yoga! A yoga routine is an excellent choice for stretching muscles and increasing blood circulation and flexibility, without the risk of injury. This Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., you can join a guided yoga class at Rosemary Park, hosted by Rosemary Court Yoga and open to everyone.
This FREE class will take you through a wide range of yoga poses, perfect for everyone no matter your fitness levels. Organizers are asking attendees to bring their own mat, towel, water, and other accessories. Friday, June 24th: Live Music in the Park
If you’re searching for things to do in Sarasota at night or need a good date night idea, check out Live Music in the Park on Friday the 24th. From 7 to 9 p.m. you can visit Payne Park for a FREE outdoor concert. This weekend, enjoy Hot Club of SRQ for a blend of jazz and swing you’re sure to love.
Attendees should bring their own lawn chair, blanket, and other needed items to enjoy this outdoor event. Also, you can choose something from the menu at Café in the Park starting at 6 p.m. Menu prices vary but be sure to arrive hungry, as Café in the Park specializes in fresh, vegetarian and vegan choices! Saturday, June 25th: Sacred Chants Circles
If you’re looking for things to do in Sarasota at night, check out the Sacred Chants Circles this Saturday the 25th. From 7 to 9 p.m. you’re invited to sing along with chants led by Lotus Heart and percussionist Michael Rutherford. If you’re shy about your singing voice, you can still add your favorite mantra to the performance or just respectfully observe the group.

Saturday, June 25th: Zumba with Yael
There are still lots of things to do this weekend in Sarasota that will get you moving and get the blood flowing! This Saturday the 25th, head over to The Mall at University Town Center for a FREE Zumba class, sure to help you start shedding unwanted pounds while increasing energy levels.
Held in the Macy’s court along the mall’s lower level from 9 to 10 a.m., Zumba instructor Yael Campbell will guide in a challenging workout you’re sure to love. Sunday, June 26th: Siesta Key Drum Circle

Sunday, June 26th: Spheres Bubble Show
If you can head over to nearby Bradenton, you’ll want to take the kids to the Spheres Bubble Show. This event combines science with a touch of magic, creating huge bubble and foam formations sure to wow the crowd. High-energy music and lasers enhance the show, so everyone stays entertained!
