Sarasota Easter Weekend of April 15th to 17th

Easter is almost here, and there are lots of holiday-related things to do this weekend in Sarasota! These events include some great Easter egg hunts and other activities you can enjoy with the entire family. For the grownups, you might also check out some upcoming festivals, yoga classes, and more.
Before going out, remember that Florida’s warm spring weather also means more harsh, dangerous sunlight throughout the day. Friday-Sunday, April 15th-17th: Easter Weekend Special at Rye Road Giraffes
This weekend you and the kids can see some exotic animals and enjoy lots of outdoor fun at Rye Road Giraffes. This local family farm is opening its doors for the entire weekend so you can enjoy bounce houses, pony and camel rides, and more. There are even some shows that the entire family is sure to love, and the snack barn will be open as well!

Saturday, April 16th: 3rd Saturday Limelight Market
The Limelight Market offers a wide range of vendors and activities for everyone in the family. This weekend you can shop various handmade crafts and artwork, or find a four-legged friend who needs a forever home. There will also be live music throughout, to keep you entertained.

Saturday, April 16th: Easter Block Party
There are lots of Easter themed upcoming events in Sarasota, including a full Easter Block Party you can enjoy! This Saturday, visit the Bedrock Church in Sarasota and let the kids check out some huge inflatables, an Easter egg hunt, and more.

Saturday, April 16th: Astronomy By the Bay for Full Moon
If you need things to do in Sarasota at night, check out Astronomy By the Bay this Saturday. From 7:30 to 10 p.m. you can enjoy the healing sounds of singing bowls, gongs, and more. After sunset there will also be a chance for you to join astronomers and gaze at the full moon and surrounding stars.

Saturday, April 16th: Goat Yoga
Are you looking for fitness related Sarasota events for 2022? There is no better way to ring in spring and get yourself in shape than with Goat Yoga! This great event, hosted by Goat Yoga SRQ, allows for fun interaction with these playful animals during a simple yoga routine.

Saturday, April 16th: Spring Fest 2022
There are even more things to do in Sarasota with kids this weekend, including a full-scale Easter block party! Hosted by South Shore Community Church, this party will include bounce houses, ax throwing, face painting, and more. Of course, there is also an Easter egg hunt you’re sure to love!

Saturday, April 16th: Breakfast with Sharks
If you love marine life, check out Breakfast With Sharks this Saturday at the Mote Aquarium. Before the venue opens to the public, you can enjoy a light continental breakfast and some helpful information about these amazing sea creatures.
