Friday-Sunday, April 8th-10th: Sarasota Bradenton Home Show
Spring is a great time to start planning your home improvement projects for the year! If you’re in the market for some new ideas or project materials, check out the Sarasota Bradenton Home Show this weekend.
This year’s show features hundreds of exhibitors and vendors including everything you need to make a house a home. You might browse new appliances and plumbing fixtures or check out shades for your outdoor space.

Saturday, April 9th: Zumba at the Bay
If you’re not quite ready for bathing suit season, check out Zumba at the Bay this Saturday the 9th! This FREE hour-long class is bound to get you moving and get your heart pumping while you burn calories and have some fun.
The class runs from 10 to 11 a.m. and offers a great view of the water while you exercise. Participants should bring their own towels, mats, water, and other accessories. Friday-Sunday, April 8th-10th: Visits with the Easter Bunny at UTC
It’s hard to believe that Easter is just around the corner, but there are lots of holiday-themed upcoming events in Sarasota you can enjoy. This weekend you can get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and take the kids through the Easter Village at the University Town Center.

Saturday-Sunday, April 9th-10th: Sarasota Spring Arts and Crafts Festival
If you’re searching for something unique and creative for the home or closet, check out the Spring Arts and Crafts Festival in Sarasota this weekend. Held at JD Hamel Park, this show features dozens of vendors offering a wide array of items including jewelry, clothes, and artwork.

Saturday, April 9th: Kids Bunny Bash
There are even more great things to do in Sarasota with kids this weekend! Check out the Kids Bunny Bash this Saturday the 9th at Mixon Fruit Farms. Your $8 admission for kids 2 and up gets you a chance to play in the bouncy castle, run through the obstacle course, and take a turn on the 20-foot inflatable slide.

Sunday, April 10th: Sundays at the Bay Featuring Amandah Jantzen
Amandah Jantzen is a nationally known jazz singer who has been performing since 1986. This Sunday you can catch her live at Sarasota Bay from 2 to 3 p.m. The outdoor performance is FREE while attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, refreshments, and other needed items. Sunday, April 10th: Brunch @ Motorworks Brewing
There are plenty of relaxing things to do this weekend in Sarasota, including brunch at Motorworks Brewing this Sunday. Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can enjoy a wide variety of menu options, bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary selections, and a number of spiked cold brew coffees.

Sunday, April 10th: Rooftop Salsa Meetup
If you need some things to do this weekend in Sarasota with your special someone, check out the Rooftop Salsa Meetup this Sunday. The event will start with a quick meet-and-greet over a cocktail, and then you can enjoy a simple salsa class anyone can follow.
