Saturday-Sunday, March 19th-20th: Spring Indie Market at UTC
If you’re ready to stock up on some homemade crafts and other items, check out the spring indie market at University Town Center this weekend. The event will feature over 70 vendors and artisans offering a range of handmade and homemade items. You’ll find art, jewelry, candles, crystals, and more. You can even shop for fresh produce.
Additionally, you’ll find a selection of food trucks offering their own brand of goodies! The market will also have a booth for ax throwing and other entertainment options. All Weekend: Sarasota County Fair
What better way to usher in spring than with a county fair? This year’s fair is a great choice if you need things to do in Sarasota with kids or are just looking for some unique fun. Along with everyone’s favorite rides and games, you can also enjoy live music throughout the entire weekend!
As always, this year’s fair also features lots of specialty sales you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re ready to stock up on new houseplants or need additional livestock or swine for the farm, you can find it at this year’s fair. Saturday, March 19th: Gator Club St. Patrick’s Day Block Party
It wouldn’t be March without a St. Patrick’s Day celebration! If you need things to do in downtown Sarasota this weekend, join the block party outside the Gator Club on Main Street this Saturday. From 8 p.m. until midnight you can enjoy great live music as well as favorite local food trucks and more.

Saturday-Sunday, March 19th-20th: Springfest Anna Maria Island
Springfest on Anna Maria Island offers an eclectic mix of artwork, food vendors, and other attractions you’re sure to love. Both Saturday and Sunday you can browse handmade jewelry and artwork items for sale, check out some educational offerings, or grab a snack and have a walk around the island.

Sunday, March 20th: THE RUCKUS MUSIC FESTIVAL Live At Music Compound
If you’re in the mood for yet more music this weekend, check out the RUCKUS music festival at Music Compound in Sarasota this Sunday. Saturday, March 19th: RADD for Ukraine
The Rosemary Art and Design District is offering a great way for area residents to show their support of Ukraine this weekend. On Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. you can join the block party at the DreamLarge Yard on Central Avenue for a full evening of music, food trucks, and more. Local artists will be on hand offering their great handmade and homemade items.

Saturday, March 19th: Le Marche Bohemian Market
This Saturday you can browse some great bohemian, Parisian inspired events at the La Marche Bohemian Market. This outdoor market is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is FREE to attend. Vendors are featuring casual chic attire and other items, many of which are vintage or remade from vintage pieces.
