Held in nearby Bradenton, this weekend’s arts and crafts fair will offer a wide array of handmade arts and crafts as well as authentic sports memorabilia, artwork, and other antiques. Sarasota’s famed Umbrella House was once called, “One of the five most remarkable houses of the mid-twentieth century,” by Architectural Digest. The house is the result of Lido Shores developer Philip Hiss hiring famed architect Paul Rudolph in 1953 to design what he hoped would be one of the most iconic houses in the country.
